Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for providing competent credit analysis for lending activities, assistance in the administration of borrowing accounts, conduct appraisal reviews, training for business loan staff, and assistance in the completion of special projects and assignments.
Processes credit applications; verifies credit references and information and determines credit limits.
Prepares reports on the status of credit and collections and other operating systems.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates a commitment to achieving goals as a bank, department and individual
Answers incoming phone calls and resolves customer inquiries
Partners with Lending team to complete portfolio/risk management activities
Serves as a partner to the business line – analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations
Prepares credit approval presentations, annual financial reviews and other key memoranda focusing on the analysis of a borrower’s cash flow, collateral, balance sheet and key risks which may impact the borrower’s ability to repay existing and/or proposed debt
Prepares underwriting analysis for new loan requests, loan renewals and modifications, which includes a detailed analysis of financial performance, financial condition, and identification of key risks and mitigating factors
Utilizes various financial ratios to determine strengths and weaknesses of a certain credit
Performs construction inspections
Completes ALLL Quarterly under the supervision of Loan Operations Supervisor
Ensures that required real estate appraisals, environmental reviews, field audits, credit bureau reports and other outside credit-related reports are ordered by appropriate bank employees in conjunction with loan requests
Compiles and presents reporting trends within the commercial real estate portfolio to management

Requirements:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
Working knowledge of and compliance with Bank policies, procedures and regulations
Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of cash flow, liquidity, working capital, profitability and leverage ratios
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate issues, carry out instructions and generate reports and correspondences
Effective organizational, prioritization, time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to support multiple people and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
