Tax Preparer

This position's main responsibility is assisting our staff in completing tax returns.
While the position is not ultimately responsible for completing or finalizing tax returns, the position requires the following: - Prepare accurate tax returns for individuals.
- Analyze financial information and documents to determine proper tax filing status and deductions - Provide exceptional customer service by answering client questions and addressing concerns - Utilize accounting software to input and organize financial data - Perform 10-key typing to accurately input numerical information - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tax returns - Maintain client confidentiality and protect sensitive information Qualifications: - Some previous experience in tax preparation or related field preferred - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficient in math calculations for accurate tax calculations - Knowledge of tax software is a plus - Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
