We are seeking a talented and experienced Staff Accountant - responsible for assisting with various financial and accounting taxes within an organization.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
* Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Accounts Payable: Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
* Accounts Receivable: Manage customer invoices, monitor accounts receivable aging, and follow up on overdue accounts.
* Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately.
* Expense Management: Track and analyze expenses, ensuring they are within budget and company policies.
Identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Tax Compliance: Assist with tax filings, including income tax, sales tax, and other regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial data and insights to support decision-making.
* Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits to provide requested financial information and resolve audit findings.
* Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights into the company's financial performance.
