Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, performing general ledger reconciliations, and preparing financial reports.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
This position for a privately owned business in Morris.
The position is not for the Consulting Firm.
Responsibilities:
- Processing Financial transactions, Sales, A/P, A/R, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations, Journal Entries and Financial Statements
- Processing Operational Transactions including Inventory, and the activity of Collection and Delivery Drivers
- Reporting of Financial and Operational data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Analyze Financial and Operational data to provide insights to management for decision-making purposes
-Understand and support Customer Service as needed
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting preferred
-Supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using QuickBooks On Line
-Proficient in Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
