Description: Community Unit School District 308 is seeking substitute teaching candidates for all grade levels and subject areas for our early learning center, kindergarten center, elementary schools (13), junior high schools (4), and high schools (2).
Requirements: Strong desire to educate Valid Professsion Educators License OR Substitute Teacher License, registered in Grundy/Kendall county Region 24 Concern for well-being of young people Successful completion of a finger-print based background check (to be completed after hire) Written evidence of a physical fitness (physical exam) completed within the last 90 days (may be provided within 30 days of your start date, if not currently available) Significant availability throughout the week Selection Procedure:District 308 replenishes its substitute teaching pool throughout the school year.
Applications will be reviewed and qualified candidates will be contacted for a phone interview on an as-needed basis.
Selected candidates will then complete a personnel file and receive instructions to access the district’s automated substitute management system, Aesop.
Daily Rate of Compensation: $125 per full-day assignment and $62.
50 per half-day assignment Incentive Plan (NEW): $100 bonus after 30 days worked $100 bonus after 60 days worked $100 bonus after 75 days worked $100 bonus after 90 days worked $100 bonus after 105 days worked $100 bonus after 120 days worked Earned incentives will be paid in December and June.
