This antique chair is solid oak and is in refinished condition.
The seat height is adjustable upward from a low of 31.

The seat is 21 inches wide by 19 inches deep.
The chair has a metal tag on it that is stamped "U.
S.
P.
O.
Dep't 101893" The oak wood on the chair is well worn and shows plenty of character, as seen in the pictures.
The oak wood color is original, it only has several coats of tung oil applied to it.
One arm of the chair has a gouge in it which I decided not to cover with leather because I felt it added to the character of the chair.
The oak footrail seems solid and strong but has imperfections due to the age of the wood and the original stress applied by bending the wood.
This solid chair weighs about 42 pounds.
I wouldn't think that this is one of a kind but I have never seen another one like it.
I purchased this years ago at auction.
We used it by our pool table as an observers chair.
When the chair is sold I will remove the posting.
