Heywood Wakefield Estate Sale.
Solid Ash Mid-Century Modern Living Room Set- 5 pieces plus four cushions for the chairs, in excellent condition and refinished.

This was our Mom’s- she was original and only owner.
Purchased approximately 1958 from the Merchandise Mart in Chicago.
All pieces have the Heywood Wakefield maker’s marks and have the model numbers as well.
Some of the pieces also have the original finish name- SABLE (but again, they have been refinished) NONE of these vintage mid-century modern pieces were ever blonde or champagne colored.
The solid wood living room furniture has been refinished and the cushions on the lounge chairs have new slipcovers.
They are made of ash, and originally had a sable finish (stamped on bottoms- was called sable grey by HW) and all have the Heywood Wakefield stamp on them.

Chairs were originally done in sable grey finish (they matched the tables), but refinished in 1980.
